Partnerships

We welcome the opportunity to discuss all forms of partnership working. You can visit our Open Source Options blog (link opens in a new window or tab) for articles and commentary.

Workshops

With the library service in the London Borough of Redbridge, we are running a monthly drop-in service for small businesses. The Open Source Options programme provides advice and guidance on:

  • Websites
  • Data security and backup
  • Office IT systems

The next session is on Friday 5 May 2017 in Ilford.

Schools and the Raspberry Pi

The Raspberry Pi is a tiny computer that is about the same size as a pack of playing cards. It is developed and manufactured in the UK by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. The Raspberry Pi Foundation’s aim was to make an inexpensive product that young people could use to learn about computing. The Raspberry Pi runs on a GNU/Linux operating system, which is based on the same software that we use.

We are working on the Coding and Control project with schools in north London. The project is run by STEMNET, a national organisation that promotes science, technology, engineering and maths in schools.
